Migraines
Migraines are more than just headaches. They’re intense, recurring episodes of pain that can be debilitating and disruptive to daily life. Often accompanied by symptoms like nausea, light sensitivity, and visual disturbances, migraines can last for hours or even days. The exact cause can vary and may include factors such as stress, hormonal changes, lack of sleep, or exposure to environmental stimuli. In some cases, muscle tension, particularly in the forehead, temples, and neck, can contribute to the frequency and intensity of attacks.
For patients with chronic migraines, preventative treatments can offer meaningful relief. Targeting and relaxing specific muscle groups can reduce tension and help prevent migraines before they occur.
