Bruxism (Teeth Grinding)
Bruxism is the habitual grinding or clenching of the teeth, often happening unconsciously during sleep or times of stress. Over time, it can lead to numerous uncomfortable and damaging effects, including worn or chipped teeth, jaw pain, headaches, and tension in the face and neck. In many cases, bruxism is associated with stress, bite misalignment, or excessive activity in the masseter muscles. If left untreated, it can contribute to TMJ dysfunction, facial asymmetry, and even changes in your smile.
Targeted treatment can help relax overactive jaw muscles, reduce tension, and protect the teeth and joints, without affecting your ability to chew or your natural facial expressions.
